It's my first week of COM125! This is also my first reflection after attending 2 classes of this module.
Honestly, I thought that majority of us should be pretty confident about what internet is all about. Considering that we are spending most of our time surfing the internet almost EVERYDAY! Surprisingly, there are pretty much more information to explore regarding about internet. Why do I say so? Firstly, I am only aware of Intranet and Internet.
But, before Intranet and Internet came about, there was Arpanet! - The "father" of Internet. Discovering the history of internet is rather interesting as it allows us to have a clearer understand how Internet was born. Besides knowing about it's history, we also discussed the possibilities of how the future of the Internet would be like (since the technology these days are always advancing)!
Currently we are living in the era of Web 2.0, which is all about social media! I have to confess, social media takes up more than 60% of my time without fail DAILY! I am having difficulties keeping my hands off from social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To put it in another words, Web 2.0 has already made our lives so much more interesting and convenient to stay in contact with friends and world latest news. Therefore, I am really looking forward to see what new and interesting features Web 3.0 and Web 4.0 will bring to change and improve our existing lifestyles!
